Ukulele strings:
Ukuleles
strings were originally made
from real gut, but now come in a
range of materials. The most
popular modern materials are
Nylgut, which is a special nylon
with similar properties to real

has a higher mass than
conventional nylon, for a
clearer tone and more precise
intonation.
The most popular
brands of ukulele strings are
Aquila Strings, who make
Ukulele
Nylgut strings,
Worth Strings,
who make
fluoro-carbon ukulele
strings, and
Ko'olau Gold, who
make performance quality
"Gold"
nylon ukulele strings.
